Drawing and Painting for All Levels
Learn basic and advanced artistic techniques: proportion, color harmonies, values, perspective using pencils, charcoal, pastels, and acrylics. Small classes afford individual attention at your level. Advanced students will extend range and scope of skills. Materials list will be provided prior to the first class.

Building Pottery Skills
Gain a solid foundation or stretch your background experiences with clay!~ Flex your creativity as you learn to build with clay or renew your flair for clay.  Whether you're a beginner or have lots of experience come enjoy a clay lab with professional equipment.  Learn how to get the most out of clay extruders, slab rollers, and a variety of clay tools. Learn to use under-glazes and glazes.  Well thought-out forms, designs and functional uses along with good craftsmanship will be emphasized. Material fee- $20 due at first class.

So What is STEM, Anyway??

Let loose your inner engineer! STEM is Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. This fun hands-on workshop gives you a chance to design and build high interest projects using the STEM process. Study energy as you build a catapult, engineer a balsa wood bridge, make a rocket, and construct a pneumatic robotic arm to compete in Bot-Ball competitions. A $20 material fee will be paid to the instructor.

Learn basic Spanish vocabulary and in an informal, conversational setting. Emphasis will be upon becoming familiar with the sound, basic structure, and cultural context of Spanish language. Learn greetings, introductions, numbers, colors, familial terms, etc. No experience is necessary. Children and families are welcome. One child can attend free with an adult.

Bluegrass String Band
If you play guitar, banjo, fiddle, mandolin, bass, autoharp, harmonica, dulcimer, or jug, or if you just like to sing, this is the class for you. Learn to play bluegrass and old-time music along wtih other pickers and singers. Learn new songs, develop rhythm styles and lead lines, vocal harmonies, and bluegrass band performance techiques. Some basic skills are required for the instrument of your choice.
